Appeals Court to mediate 61 appeals in a day

The Court of Appeal is set to handle at least 61 cases in a day through Appellate Mediation, the newest alternative dispute mechanism (ADR) in Uganda. Owinyi-Dollo appointed Deputy Chief Justice

President Yoweri Museveni has named Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo of the Court of Appeal as the new Deputy Chief Justice, replacing Justice Steven Kavuma.
