PGD Social Justice Scholarships

Nsamizi Training Institute of Social Development (Mpigi) together with the International Institute for Social Studies, The Hague (Netherlands) is implementing a 4 year NICHE-NUFFIC funded project titled "Mainstreaming and strengthening the Social Development Component in the Justice, Law and Order Sector in Uganda".

One of the key outputs of the project is to design and implement a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in social justice. The PGD - Social Justice Programme has successfully been been accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and is affiliated to Makerere University. The Justice, Law and Order Sector has been invited to nominate 40 candidates to the programme from various sector member institutions.

The Scholarship award covers tuition, accommodation, feeding and all study materials for the modules taught. Application fees, functional fees for Makerere University and other costs of personal requirements shall be met by students themselves or the sending institutions.
